Bayless Cemetery is a small, public community cemetery located just off Gann Ridge Road in Gateway, Arkansas. The oldest graves date back to 1878, but many are unmarked and may be much older.
The Bayless Cemetery Association is a volunteer charitable organization that was started by community and family members back in the late 1930s to organize the layout of graves and markers, and to clean and maintain the cemetery grounds, showing respect for loved ones that are buried here. Today, the Association maintains the cemetery using funds from the sale of burial plots and generous donations made by family, friends and the community.
